 My Dear People of Obubra/Etung Federal Constituency,  I am filled with gratitude to God for the just and fair decision made by the Election Petition Tribunal, which ruled in our favor today at the High Court complex, Mary Slessor Road, Calabar. I want to specially thank God for this victory as well as commend the judiciary for their tireless effort, patience, and careful supervision of this matter to ensure that justice was delivered to us without prejudice. Today's victory would not have been possible without the unwavering support of former governor of our beloved state, H.E. Sen. (Prof) Ben Ayade, the incumbent governor, H.E. Sen. DR HELEN EGODO MEETS WITH UNHCR-UNITED NATIONS REFUGEE AGENCY FOR FAMILIARIZATION.

  The Commisioner for Humanitarian Affairs, CRS , Dr Helen Agan Egodo, accompanied by the Permanent Secretary, Mrs Mbong, Directors and other team members from the Ministry embarked on a familiarization visit to UNHCR Cross River State Field Last week Thursday. The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) is one of the specialized programs of the United Nation, with a mandate to provide international protection to refugees and people in IDP camps. The honorable commissioner ministry of humanitarian affairs CRS, in her usual way of showing love and extending a hand of fellowship to the masses paid a courtesy visit to the children unit of the living faith church, airport road calabar. The commissioner who was accompanied round the children unit of the church by the head of the children unit Mrs Blossom Ejah was excited at the way and manner of coordination of the children by Dr. Mrs Amina Adams Peter and Mr. Moris and she appreciated them over a job well done. The UN Refugee Agency and Nigerian Red Cross Society, Cross River State Branch, paid a courtesy visit to the Cross River State Commissioner for Health, Dr. Henry Egbe Ayuk, in his office for familiarisation, to further strengthen the working relationship to improve public health services delivery, as the State account for about 56% of Refugee population.
